A kit comprises gold nanoparticles having size of 40-50 nm as surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate, preservative fluid, density gradient solution, phosphate buffered saline (PBS), and pre-coated glass slide. The concentration of the nanoparticles is in the range of 8x 1013-10x 1013 particles/ml. Kit used for screening and detecting different grades of cervical cancer such as normal, high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, and cervical squamous cell carcinoma (all claimed) during treatment of diagnosed patient. Can also be used for differentiating normal (NRML) and malignant tissues in lungs, stomach, bladder, breast, parathyroid, and prostate. The kit is non-invasive and label-free kit. The SERS is accurate, simple and reliable technique.
