Technologies developed
  1. Gas bio-trickling filter for efficient VOC (volatile organic compound) and odor control.
Based on the field VOC and odour emission data a pilot scale modular gas bio-trickling filter (BTF) unit was developed. The suitability, robustness and effectiveness for BTF in VOC abatement was experimentally validated. The high performance BTF unit exhibited excellent VOC removal efficiency (RE > 99%). BTF can be successfully employed to remove VOCs from waste gas streams from various industrial off-gases.
  2. Bio-electorchimcal process for green H2 production.
A lab scale novel bio-electrochimal process was developed for green- H2 production from various feed stock.
  3. UV-Clean Disinfecting Unit (λ-FLASHBOX).
UV-CLEAN unit has been developed for disinfection of commonly used accessories such as electronic gadgets (mobile, watches, wireless gadgets), stationery items, metallic items, paper, plastic/leather accessories (wallets, currency, key, spectacles, bags etc.), PPEs (musk, gloves, etc.) and much more. UV-CLEAN unit kills 99.9 % of pathogens on high-touch surfaces within a short period of time (~ 5 min) without use of any chemicals and thus not causing any secondary pollution.
