Profile

Abdul Haleem B obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with First Rank from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam under the University of Kerala in 1999. After graduation, he worked with the Indian Railways in the Metallurgical Quality Control wing of Wheel and Axle Plant (presently Rail Wheel Factory), Bangalore. In 2002, he moved to Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for pursuing master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2004, he joined as Scientist-B at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bangalore. Till 2011, he worked as Scientist in various capacities at CSIR-NAL, Bangalore. In 2011, he shifted to CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram. He is presently working as Senior Scientist, Environmental Technology Division, CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram & Faculty Member, Division of Engineering Sciences, Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), Ghaziabad. He is also the Quality Manager of Testing and Analysis Laboratory, Environmental Technology Division, CSIR-NIIST, accredited as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) vide certificate number TC-8086.
