Dr.Tripti Mishra

Dr. Tripti Mishra graduated in Botany & Chemistry with a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Further joined CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute Lucknow as a research scholar and registered for Ph.D. from Kumaun University Nainital Uttarakhand. She has completed her Ph.D. on “Isolation and Identification of Bioactive Compounds from Indian Medicinal Plants and their Biological Activity”. Her primary area of work is Phytochemistry. After completing her Ph. D., she joined Spices Board India as a Junior Chemist in December 2017. Further, in August 2021, she joined as a scientist at CSIR-NIIST.

She has published various research publications in peer-reviewed international journals during her research career. She has also published book chapters and presented her work as an oral/poster presentation at reputed National and International conferences. At one of the International Conferences on medicinal plants and Natural products (ICMPNP-2017), she visited London, United Kingdom, with financial aid from government funding agencies like CSIR, DBT, and INSA CICS to present her research work. She was awarded the best paper presentation award by WASET (World Academy of Science, Engineering, and Technology). She has also been awarded the 8th Prof. Dr. A. Hisham Endowment Award-2022 in Phytochemistry by the Kerala Academy of Sciences.
