The Artificial and Machine learning (AI & ML) Unit in CSIR-NIIST with a focus to build a strong predictive analytics team focusing on providing cutting-edge and tailored AI/ML solutions to the stakeholders. Artificial intelligence research aims at building intelligent algorithms/systems that learns from real data to form predictive models that can make predictions and decisions. We aim to design and develop eclectic mix of algorithms by including hybrid modeling to offer AI-powered data analysis cum visualization, predictive analytics, and data science skills development. The integration of mathematical modeling, system dynamical modelling, Artificial Intelligence including data integration and image analytics in the most of the sectors, including Agriculture, Food processing, Healthcare, Energy, Ecology & Environment and etc.
